Gastrobot Forkable Union

App information and privacy notice

Gastrobot Forkable Union is an internal GastrobotEats catering automation. It reads Forkable order messages addressed to the authorized catering mailbox, prepares kitchen documents for 1096 Union Street, posts those documents to the internal Forkable Union Slack channel, and confirms eligible orders after processing.

The Google connection requests read-only Gmail access. That permission technically covers the authorized mailbox; the worker searches for Forkable messages and excludes other locations from order processing. It does not send, delete, or modify Gmail messages.

The automation processes order details, customer names, food selections, dietary and allergy notes, pickup times, attachments, and message metadata. Matching source messages, documents, and processing records are stored on Gastrobot’s encrypted AWS server. Credentials are kept separately in AWS Secrets Manager. Kitchen PDFs and summaries are shared with authorized members of Gastrobot’s internal Slack channel. AWS and Slack provide the hosting, storage, monitoring, and communication services used by this automation. Order confirmation requests are sent to Forkable.

This automation uses Google user data only to provide the described catering workflow and related operational support. It does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train generalized AI models. Its use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Operational records and documents remain until removed by a Gastrobot operator; there is currently no automatic expiry on the live records. AWS backup objects are configured for 30-day retention, with previous object versions expiring after seven days. Slack copies follow the workspace’s retention settings. Infrastructure logs are configured for 14-day retention and omit order contents and credentials.

The mailbox owner can revoke the app’s access through their Google Account connections settings. Revocation prevents future authorized access but does not itself delete previously stored records. Contact deniz@gastroboteats.com to request access review, correction, or deletion of retained data.
